Based in England, she uses intertextual and poetic sequences to reckon with the supposed ‘truth’ within colonial histories while repurposing text, imagery, and found materials. With a focus on the archive in all its forms (colonial, counter, living, and familial), her works show a deep respect for intersectionality and intertextuality. She’s currently working to build a practice reliant on the entanglement of memoirs and radical archival methodology, with diasporic memory and photographs at the heart of her research. Her means of transmission include, but aren’t limited to, ongoing dialogues, zines, and autoethnographic notes.
