Elhassan Elmuontasir

Elhassan Elmuontasir, a burgeoning talent in the contemporary art scene, operates from his base in Khartoum. With a solid foundation in Graphic Design from the College of Fine and Applied Arts in Khartoum, Elmuontasir furthered his education by securing a BA in Technical Education from the Sudan University of Science and Technology in 2011. His commitment to fostering artistic collaboration and exchange is evident in his co-founding of Khaish Studio in 2012, a project space dedicated to facilitating international dialogues between artists.

Elmuontasir's artistic journey recently expanded beyond national borders, with the completion of an artist residency in Bhubaneswar, India, earlier this year. This international exposure marks a significant milestone in his career, providing him with fresh perspectives and inspirations that continue to enrich his work.
