About the Artist
Paul Njihia embarked on his artistic journey in 2010, initially painting commissioned portraits to support his education. Transitioning to a full-time artist after his studies, Njihia became associated with the Kuona Trust Art Centre in 2014 and later secured a studio at the Kobo Trust in 2017. His career has been enriched by artist residencies, notably in Kenya-Deutschland, Konstanz, Germany, in 2015, and at Nafasi Art Space in Dar es Salaam. Njihia's work has been featured in numerous group exhibitions, showcasing his talent both in Nairobi and Dar es Salaam, marking his growing influence in the East African art scene.
