Selome Muleta

Selome Muleta, after a foundational year at Abyssinia Fine Arts School with a focus on Painting, further honed her skills and knowledge with a two-year stint at Entoto Technical and Vocational School, completing her Fine Arts Studies. Since then, Selome has been engaging in the professional art scene with her unique non-figurative works. Her art delves into the profound impact of interpersonal relationships on mental well-being, emphasizing how the continuous exchange of ideas and experiences molds our identity, interactions, and life perceptions.

Selome's artistic journey has been marked by notable exhibitions, showcasing her ability to communicate complex themes through her art. She has held solo exhibitions at the Guramayne Art Centre in June 2018 and the Fendika Art Gallery in June 2019. Additionally, her work was part of a group exhibition at Alliance Ethio-Française in February 2019, further establishing her as a thoughtful and introspective voice within the contemporary art landscape.
