Maliza Kiasuwa

Maliza Kiasuwa, born in 1975 in Bucharest, is a self-taught artist currently residing and working in Nairobi, Kenya. With a vibrant international and local exhibition record, Kiasuwa has established herself as a prominent figure in the contemporary art scene. Her artworks are known for their stimulating and eclectic nature, characterized by a unique blend of transformative techniques.

Kiasuwa ingeniously repurposes everyday objects through a series of reductive and constructive methods.
