About the Artist
Mohamed Sidiq, currently serving as an artist at the Sudanese National Theatre, has built a diverse career in the arts, underpinned by a solid foundation in education, starting from Alhilaly Primary School. His expertise spans various roles, including a stint as an assistant professor at the College of Fine Arts, an associate in the restoration unit at the National Museum, and presently, a position in the department of set decoration at the National Theatre.
Sidiq's artistic journey is highlighted by several exhibitions, including the School of Fine Art Exhibition in 2008, a solo exhibition in the city of Wad Abbas in 2009, and participation in the Sudanese Artist Union Exhibition in 2014. His commitment to continuous learning and collaboration is evident in his participation in workshops, such as the Sudanese Artist Union workshop on the theme "Beauty Through Your Eyes," the Crossroads Workshop at the Mahdi Artist Center, and a digital photography workshop for the National Theatre at the Faisal Center.
Moreover, Sidiq is an active member of the Fine Art Union and the Drama and Music Worker Union, reflecting his deep engagement with the artistic community in Sudan. His multifaceted career showcases a dedication to both the preservation and innovation within the realm of Sudanese arts and culture.
